We created a self-paced course with live mentors meetups. That means our course was built module by module in order to help you with your development career. The problem with Udemy and Youtube is you can’t expect to get your answer to a question in the time that you need it. They have so many subscribers or $10 paying students that it’s not possible to answer questions.
We are different compared to other sites because we give you a mentor when you signup for the course. The mentors are there to help you when you get stuck and they will do meetings with you to check on learning and unlock more modules.
Our Program is designed to last you 4 weeks with 1 meeting per week to make sure you are on track. The meetings will also be used to give you evaluations as well as unlocking modules. This is all done assuming you can spend 2-3 hours of work a day towards learning to code. You will get a certificate of completion at the end of your PreCodeCamp Tour.
Ultimately, PreCodeCamp serves as the missing piece in the puzzle for aspiring Bootcamp participants. It bridges the gap between casual learning and the rigorous demands of a Bootcamp, ensuring a smoother transition and a stronger foundation. By pre-learning the material, individuals can enter Bootcamps more confidently, absorbing advanced concepts rather than grappling with the basics.
The language we teach you with is JavaScript. It's a great base language to pick and not as strict when it comes to typing. Why is PreCodeCamp a good idea? Look at some of the key benefits below…

Meeting 1: We are making sure you have all the downloads needed in order to start the course. We also want to ensure that you have access to the Discord Community. Before we leave the meeting we will make sure we schedule the next one.
Meeting 2: We will give you a quiz based on the content that you have gone through. We will ask you to share your screen and we will test your ability to code on command. We will tell you what to type but tell it to you in a code challenge. “Example: create a variable and name it firstname. Assign that variable a string.”
This will prepare you for your actual boot camp with your instructor or teacher assistant. This will make their job easier when they are debugging with you.
Meeting 3: We will have several coding challenges for you to complete. This will teach you how to code with someone watching. We are checking for your logical thinking.
Meeting 4: We will throw you bugs in the code and have you try to fix it. We will test your debugging skills.
Meeting 5 & Above: Customized challenges to test you logically. We will get into more advanced features with higher order functions (map, filter, reduce…etc)
